A fishing pier, pavilion, and dock is located at the very end of Main Street in Crisfield Maryland.
The two story pavilion is a popular area for photography, boat watching, and enjoying views of Tangier Sound. A series of piers extend from the pavilion into the Little Annamessex River.
Anglers fishing on the Crisfield fishing pier catch croaker, spot, rockfish, perch, trout, flounder, and other local fish. Crabbing is also popular on the piers.
Fresh bait is available locally, including peeler crabs, soft crabs, and bait for crabbing. Check with local tackle shops or DNR for fishing and crabbing regulations.
In October 2012, the town dock, pavilion, and pier sustained heavy damage from Hurricane Sandy. Extensive renovations to the pier and dock began in the spring of 2013. The pier re-opened in 2014.
